Payment and Cancellation

• 50% payment is required upon making a reservation. The balance is payable on the day of the tour.
• Cancellation on the day due to personal decision is subject to 100% full payment.
• Cancellation due to extreme weather conditions, and you are unable to book another day,  entitles the guests to 100% refund (less bank fees).
• Cancellation made less than 14 days before the trip does not entitle the guests to any refund.
• Our decision to go on the trip is based on the latest weather forecast on the day of the tour. We do not hold any responsibility if there are any changes in the weather pattern during the course of the tour.
• Our boat captain holds long years of experience operating a boat trip. We therefore trust his judgment on the day of the tour if the tour should proceed or not.

Food & Beverage

• Unless specified during reservation, we do not hold any responsibility for any allergy reactions on the day of the tour.
• Cancellation due to personal reasons does not entitle the guests to consume the food & beverage allowed for the tour.

Behaviour

• Our tour company reserves the right to cancel the tour should extreme tardiness during resort pick up occurs.
• Any illegal drugs are not permitted on board the Island Gem Picnic tour and we reserve the right to refuse guests under the influence of the said drugs.
• We work with local Thais and we deem our guests to give the same respect to our colleagues.
• Any damage to our equipment or loss of equipment due to guests’ neglect is chargeable. Fins are charged @ THB 600 and masks and snorkel are charged @ THB 200.

Boats

• Island Gem Picnic operates a boat trip via a traditional long tail boat. If you are skeptical to ride this boat, you have the option to upgrade to a speedboat at an extra cost. Please specify this upon reservation.

• Itinerary is subject to change, subject to weather conditions on the day.
• Any dietary requirements must be informed in advance.
• Our minimum guests per tour is 2. The tour may be canceled if there are less than the minimum number.
• We are not responsible for the quality of the photographs that you take or the quality of camera equipment that you bring with you to the tour.
• 100% full payment is required upon making a reservation.
• Any cancellation must be made at least 14 days before the trip. Full refund is issued less bank fees.

By agreeing to our terms and conditions, applicable to all tours, we reserve the right to use images we have taken on the day on our social media platforms and other commercial purposes. Should you have any objection, you are required to give us advance notice.
